Biography
Mad Riande (Panamanian, b. 1992) is a multidisciplinary artist based in LA, California. Working across painting, sculpture, video performance and interactive systems using Arduino, her practice engages biological research, memory, and evolving technological environments.
Mad received a BFA in Industrial Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design and an MFA from Pratt Institute. Her work has been exhibited at Museo de Arte Contemporaneo de Panama, Rubelle & Norman Schafler Gallery (Brooklyn), Workspace Gallery (Manchester, CT), Satellite Art Fair - Art Basel (Miami), Centro Cultural Internacional (Panama City), Prisma Estudio (Lisbon), and Galeria Habitante (Panama), among others.
